Overview

Back in 2021, I was hired by Entain as their Lead UX Designer to work on one of their most innovative projects yet: revolutionising partypoker (known as BetMGM in the US), the third most successful online poker platform globally.

My Role

As the Lead UX/Product Designer on the team, my responsibilities included:

Conducting in-depth research to identify issues with the existing platform, creating detailed user personas, running weekly user tests, consulting focus groups, and gathering both quantitative and qualitative feedback. I maintained daily communication with stakeholders, collaborated closely with developers, designed low- to high-fidelity wireframes and prototypes, structured the platform’s information architecture, proposed innovative solutions for the poker table, and contributed to producing a functional design system and optimised lobbies.

Objective

During my time at Entain, while working on this specific project, we built an incredible team of both young and seasoned designers with a shared goal: to create one of the most innovative and modern poker platforms ever.

Through extensive research and rigorous testing with both professional players and brand-new poker enthusiasts, the feedback was unanimous: the platform was fun, functional, scalable, and easy to play.

It excelled in every aspect when compared to direct competitors, potentially setting a new benchmark in the industry.

Project Uploading

The most innovative aspects of this project are still in progress and will be uploaded here once released. For a custom presentation or a private link, feel free to contact me directly.

In the meantime, you can explore the current partypoker (or BetMGM platform, if in the U.S.), which I helped enhance over the past year. Specific case studies will be added to this page soon. The platform is available for download on desktop, mobile, or any online app store.
